This seasonal “cake” is inspired by the popular "Baozhong Tea", a Chinese “flower” oolong tea variety with melon notes. Waozhong tea has been found to contain antioxidant and antimutagenic properties that are over three times the amount found in black tea.
Similar to the traditional crisp and fluffy Taiwanese pineapple cake in texture, this unique seasonal tea cake features 4 top-quality ingredients. The sweet golden diamond pineapple (Tainong No. 17) and Tainan Yujing Aiwen mangos are used as the base of the fruit filling. This tropical fruit combo is then mixed with fragrant Baozhong Tea from the Wenshan region of Taiwan that is world renowned for the highest quality of teas produced. Finally, the French Montague AOP cream, the "Rolls-Royce of cream" made from pasture-fed crows in Normandy, France, rounds off this symphony of flavors with a rich but delicate aroma.
Each box includes 8 pieces (~50g per piece).
Ingredients: Flour, pineapple filling (pineapple, sugar maltose, lemon juice, palm oil), dried Aiwen mango, creme, powdered sugar, eggs, Baozhong tea leaves.
This product is made in a facility that also processes tree nuts, sesame and soy.
